Palisades Parks Conservancy: A Resilient Identity Rooted in Natural Heritage
The updated identity of Palisades Parks Conservancy is centered around the pitch pine, a native tree that symbolizes resilience and regeneration. This tree, known for its ability to sustain life and promote forest growth, serves as a visual metaphor for the Conservancy's mission to preserve and protect the natural landscape.
The logo reflects this connection, drawing inspiration from the pitch pine's enduring presence across the region. Additionally, custom lockups were designed for each of the 21 parks and 9 historic sites, ensuring a unified yet regionally distinctive identity for the entire network of parks.
